Frequently Asked Questions

How can I become a member? +
To become a member, you must be a registered rice vendor in Barangay Burgos. Visit our office during business hours with your business permit, valid ID, and two 2x2 photos. Membership fee is ₱500 with monthly dues of ₱100.
What are the loan requirements? +
Members in good standing for at least 6 months can apply for loans. Requirements include: filled application form, two valid IDs, proof of income, and two co-makers who are also association members. Loan amounts range from ₱5,000 to ₱50,000.
When is profit sharing distributed? +
Profit sharing is distributed annually every December 15. Distribution is based on member's length of membership, total purchases from the association, and loan repayment history. Minimum payout is ₱1,000.
Can I buy rice directly from the association? +
Yes! Association members enjoy wholesale prices on quality rice. We offer several varieties including premium, regular, and budget options. Non-members can also purchase but at slightly higher prices.
